The Presentations
On behalf of his wife, Kim, Jody presented “From Wolf to Dog:
Genetics & Domestication.” This talk summarized the history and genetics
of wolves and dogs and the transformation from wild to domesticated.

Tom Belcoure's presentation was entitled “Rabies
Vaccination and the Wolfdog: New Developments.”
Tom is the Director of the Alachua County Health
Department and is also a member of the Florida
Rabies Compendium Committee.
Jim Hopkins, FLA member and Vice President of the United
States of America
Wolfdog Association (USAWA), gave a presentation on “Improving the
Wolfdog: Responsible Breeding.”
